May 11, 2022 – While attending the 2022 Assured Position, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) summit, Synoptic took in remarks from leaders around the defense community, including the Departments of Homeland Security, Defense, and Transportation. We noted the awareness of the need for resilient, alternative, and complementary PNT as critical to the nation. Many speakers noted that, unlike GPS, alternate and complementary PNT will not be one-size-fits-all. Different alternative and complementary PNTs will be used in different systems.
