April 27, 2022 – Synoptic Engineering has begun work on Phase 2 of its distributed communications STTR effort, called ReCLASS, sponsored by Army C5ISR. As our focus shifts from in-lab exploration to over-the-air testing, we are excited to begin bridging the gap to fielded deployment. Having shown that reciprocity-based distributed beamforming can extend the range and reduce detectability, we will be working to demonstrate increased range, squad size scalability, and data density in this phase of the effort.
