May 23, 2022 – Given our background as innovators in the intelligence community and defense domains, we are excited to broaden our horizons into the civilian realm, potentially under the rubric of energy innovation. The consistent theme at the ARPA-E Summit is that economic value is the main driver for energy innovations. The consensus seems to be that “the technology exists” to move to alternative and/or renewable energies, but that doing so practically and affordably remains out of reach.
